SOLAR

WIND

As global efforts intensify to embrace renewable energy, utility scale wind power shines as a beacon of sustainable progress. Capitalizing on the vast and inexhaustible power of wind, these installations offer a blend of scalability, efficiency, and consistency, distinguishing them from other renewable sources. At HFE, our dedicated team of wind energy experts champions this transformation, guiding the development and stewardship of an impressive suite of utility scale wind ventures.

HYBRID

As the penetration of renewables in the global power mix increases rapidly, the intermittent nature of wind and solar generation threatens to affect grid stability negatively. A viable solution is the increasing trend towards constructing wind / solar hybrid projects, as opposed to plain vanilla wind or solar. Hybrid projects in conjunction with storage systems help address the variability factor by relying on the complementary nature of wind and solar and yield firm power. Hybrid projects also typically have a higher capacity utilization and are more cost efficient.

Since April 2023, HFE has steadily added to its portfolio, securing capacities under the following bids:
  • 120 MW (AC) - SECI Tranche-VI Peak Power (1.2 GW tender)
  • 240 MW (AC) including greenshoe option - SJVN Peak Power (1.5 GW tender)
  • 100 MW (AC) - NHPC Peak Power (1.5 GW tender)
  • 120 MW (AC) - SECI FDRE-II (1.5 GW tender)
  • 120 MW (AC) - NTPC FDRE Tranche-II (3 GW tender)
