Enabling end to end industrial decarbonization

Green Hydrogen - Molecule for a Decarbonised Future

Hydrogen (H2) is a unique molecule that can move across industries and sectors to decarbonise our planet. Hero Future Energies (HFE) understands and acknowledges the significance of the role of this green molecule in transforming the ecosystem and leading to a sustainable future.

HFE has positioned itself uniquely to deliver Green Hydrogen and its derivatives to India and Rest of World as an End-to-End Service provider through in-house expertise and Tier-I collaborations across the complete value chain on a Build-Operate-Own model as well as Engineering Procurement and Construction model.

Green Hydrogen - Fueling A Carbon-Zero World

The most recent IPCC report states that we are in danger of breaching the threshold of 1.5 Degrees Centigrade rise in the earth’s temperature compared to the preindustrial era by the end of this decade. The report warns of a climate catastrophe and advises all nations to adopt Net Zero targets by 2050 at the latest. Understanding the urgency of the situation, Governments, businesses and individuals have all come together and issued a clarion call to accelerate decarbonization at all levels.

Almost 100 MMTPA (Million Metric Tonnes Per Annum) of Hydrogen is currently produced world-wide, out of which India produces 6 MMTPA. Most of the hydrogen produced across the globe is not friendly to the environment such as Steam Methane Reforming (SMR) of Natural Gas, and is also known as Grey Hydrogen. These processes release 5 tonnes of CO₂ against each tonne of hydrogen generated. HFE intends to replace this with Green Hydrogen, which can be produced by injecting renewable energy into electrolysers to split water into Hydrogen and Oxygen, thus, making the molecule production process completely carbon free.

HFE as a leading provider of Green Hydrogen and its derivatives

HFE has taken significant steps as it looks to emerge as a leading provider of green hydrogen and its derivatives, across the globe. To begin with, we are well positioned as a low cost RE provider for Green Hydrogen production. With strategic partnerships in place with industry leaders across the entire Green Hydrogen value chain, HFE aims to provide the most scalable, flexible & cost-effective green hydrogen solutions for our C&I clients, in line with our goal of being a preferred Energy Transition partner for industries. We are collaborating with leading businesses in Hard to Abate Sectors (i.e. applications of fossil fuels which cannot be directly electrified using renewable energy), on innovative / scalable use cases for Green Hydrogen deployment and aim to scale up pilot projects under discussion to large / utility scale projects which will form the basis of accelerating their Net Zero journeys. HFE is also actively working towards deploying green hydrogen solutions at the utility scale, helping to drive the decarbonization efforts of the energy sector.

The HFE Green Hydrogen Edge

Hero Future Energies is well positioned to offer reliable, affordable and efficient Green Hydrogen Solutions to Governments and Industries in India as well as in other parts of the world notably the Indian Subcontinent, Europe and ASEAN regions.
