We understand our social and environmental responsibility and work towards creating sustainable value for communities and the planet. Our goal is to be climate positive, people positive and water positive. Our Corporate Social Responsibility programs align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. We strive to build strong relationships with communities near our project sites and design Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives to empower and create livelihoods for local communities.

FOCUS AREAS

Potable Water

Water ATMs
HFE, in association with Tata Group, Raman Kant Munjal Foundation and Anjali Enterprises, has installed 10 solar powered water ATMs in several water scarce villages in MP, Rajasthan & Andhra Pradesh, providing clean drinking water and checking the spread of water borne diseases. In addition, HFE empowers local people by employing them for the upkeep and maintenance of these water ATMs. Our company is planning to scale up this project in the coming years in terms of number of plants and locations.
Check-Dams
HFE with PHD Rural Development Foundation has built 6 check dams in remote areas of MP and Rajasthan to recharge groundwater and provide a regular supply of water that can sustain irrigation round the year. This has immensely benefited local agricultural communities.

Education & Skill Development

HFE runs Asha Education Centres in collaboration with Raman Kant Munjal Foundation Trust to provide remedial education to children who lack access to formal education and aid them in exploring better career choices. These centres empower local women to be trained and employed as teachers. We have established 45 Asha Centres in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh to date, supporting 1100 students from low-income families.

The PATHAKSHALA program has trained over 250 teachers from private schools and health centres, thus creating a much needed community of teachers and empowering them to help students pursue a successful career.

The Digilab project, conducted in partnership with the 17,000 ft Foundation, provides digital learning tools and modern content to children in remote villages of Ladakh for a state of the art learning experience.

Healthcare

Hero Future Energies was actively involved in relief and rehabilitation work during the Covid 19 pandemic. The company provided oxygen concentrators, ventilators, medical equipment and PPE to hospitals in the vicinity of our project areas. A sum of Rs. 500,000 was donated to Badnawar hospital in Madhya Pradesh for procuring a CT Scan machine.
